Spotting only when...??

This maybe a crazy question and too  much info, but does any one else only have spotting when they go poop??

  • You might want to check with your doctor about that.  You may have some sort of GI bleed rather then spotting.

  • Yes, that's normal, as long as you know it's coming out the appropriate hole. It's due to straining when you're experiencing a BM.
  • It could be from hemmoroids.  Just ask your doc next time you go in unless it's really bad.  You can take stool softeners if you are constipated and that may help.

  • I did with DS.  It was from straining with a BM.  Dr suggested stool softeners to make it easier.  It let up and I only spotted four times but after that I was fine.  It was spotting from my vagina not from the poop or hemorrhoids or anything.  GL.  I would let the Dr. know the next time you are there though.
  • Your cervix is super sensitive right now and when you strain while you are having a bm your rectum pushes up against it and will cause a bit of spotting.
  • I've had the same experience.  Make sure you tell your doctor though!

YES!! All the time. The doctor said when your strain or push, it my burst blood vessels in your cervix and also push all your CM/old blood out. If you have already seen your doctor about it and got checked out then I wouldn't worry too much, but yes, it happens to me all the time. :)
