that lady has a fat belly?!

Coming home from picking up some baby things today, some little girl hanging over the wall from her house to my apartment complex saw me and said out loud, "That lady has a fat belly!"

 

I couldn't believe it.  I looked at her and her mom/grandma/gaurdian and said, "Hah, yeah, I'm PREGNANT!"  

 People should teach their kids some manners.

Um... I was at a high school friend's wedding a couple of weeks ago and ran into another high school friend whose mom was also there.  She told her mom I was pregnant and due in about 6 weeks, to which her mom responded, "Oh, I just thought you were fat."  So, evidently it's not just the kids who need manners...

She had no idea that that was unacceptable but really, if the "fat" lady heard her, I would hope that she realized that she's just a kid and you seriously can't let a 4 year old ruin your day. 

Well, a month ago, I asked her when trying on some maternity clothes "Does mommy look sexy in THIS?" 

Uh...seriously?
