Baby Bargains lovers - a question

I can't decide whether to buy BB through Kindle vs. as paperback. They are almost the same price, even including shipping.

Pros of Kindle: instant delivery, I have it on my iPhone for instant reference anywhere (e.g., at the store weighing options), Cons: not easy to skim, not sure if there are pictures.

Pros of softcover: see Kindle cons, Cons: see Kindle pros

so BB lovers... Thoughts? Does BB have a lot of pictures I'll want to see? Will I value more pulling it up on my phone in the store, or paging through skimming the physical book at home?

  • I don't think there are a lot of pictures, but there are quite a few text boxes here and there will helpful hints... not sure how they work that on a kindle... LOVE your idea of it being portable though!  Good luck!

  • Loading the player...
  • I like having the book with me when I'm in stores, and the kindle is much smaller and more portable, so I say go for the kindle version!
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml

even better - I don't need to actually carry the kindle since I have the kindle app on my iPhone :). But I miss books...

  • I think the format/layout of the book requires a lot of flipping back and forth - seems like it would be a REAL pain on an iPhone IMO. Go for the real deal.

  • I don't think that the paperback version is too bulky to bring to a store. I also have made notes, underlined etc in the book which I don't know if you can do on a kindle/iphone.

But I will admit that I have a general e-book aversion.

  • Oooh, I like the underlining concept.  Thanks for the advice, ladies!

  • There aren't many pics in the book. I would go for the online version. Having it accessible is a huge help. It's separated by items (nursery, travelling) so skimming shouldn't be that bad, just skip to nursery and look for the section on cribs. Plus the index at the back is helpful, too.
