let the nesting begin!

DH and I both woke up this morning thinking the same thing... operation "let's get rid of 1/2 of our stuff"  so far i've shredded about 10 years of old documents and have 6 boxes of books ready for friends to go through/goodwill... now to the kitchen!

Haha...I was just about to write a post about how today is the perfect day for nesting. It's freezing and gloomy outside, so I'm staying home and nesting. Right now I'm going through my basket of old mail and coupons (mostly expired). Next on the list is cleaning out my hall closet.

Too funny!  I was up at 7am throwing out 2 garbage bags of expired coupons and junk and I created a divided notebook with all of our home insurance docs, mortgage statements, HOA guidelines and other home docs.  Very productive morning

I'm right with you.  Just went through my closet and got rid of 3 huge bags of clothing/shoes.  Now, I'm off to figure out where all the stuff from our spare room will fit when we have to convert it to a nursery.  It feels good to be getting rid of stuff, though!

I've been doing the nesting thing since I was like 16 weeks. At least with being pregnant you know the house is gonna be clean and uncluttered! lol

I need to catch your ladies' nesting moods. I am moving in two weeks and haven't packed a thing! Moving is a great time to get rid of old junk, I just have no desire to do so!
