2nd Trimester

May Mamas

What will the weather be like when your LO is born?

Here in ND (this will be our 3rd spring), it has been cool.  I have pics from last june of Taylor with a sweatshirt on.  I guess I am probably covered with a cotton sleep n play to take baby home....  too bad all the fleece/sweatshirt ones won't be used (I hope at least!).

Re: May Mamas

  • It depends...in NH we could have snow, we could have 60s and sunny! I'll check the weather and probably pack a few different outfits.
  • Loading the player...
  • I have a feeling it will be chilly. We had a blizzard in May 2 years ago. Our winter started late, so it will probably go longer...yippee...gotta love MN, we have about 4 weeks of nice summer weather! LOL

  • It'll be hot here in Arkansas.  Probably in the 80s and humid.  Fun times!

  • I'm in Missouri and c-section will be 3rd week in May, so probably fairly warm - 70's to low 80's.
  • The average here for the last two weeks in May is 75-80. So it will definitely be on the warm side. Not sure on a take home outfit yet.

  • Where we live in Cali, it can range from 70-85. Should be b-e-a-utiful!
  • In Chicago, you never know!  It could be snowing or 70 degrees!  But, I'm thinking it will be around the 50-60's and will prob pack a few options just in case.

     It's getting closer ladies :)

  • I'm due May 31st, so I could very well actually be a June mama... and there is just no way of knowing what the the weather will be like here. Last summer was super mild, but some years even the first week of June is hot and humid. If I had to guess I would say it will probably be pretty nice, 60s-70s, and sunny. June is nice month here.

  • I am due May 30th and the weather around here is crazy, but it will more than likely be warm. I don't expect it to get hot and humid until later and I think it will be too late for really cool weather.

  • hard to say- i am in syracuse,ny maybe 50-60 degrees
  • The last two end of Mays have been gorgeous out here in RI. We still brought DD home in a cotton footed sleeper and cap though to help her regulate but no blanket on top of that. I'd say it was at least mid 70's if not high 70's.
  • It could be anywhere from 60's to 90's.  I am due near Mother's Day and 2 years ago, I was wearing shorts and wishing it would cool down.  Last year, I think it was May gray.  I will settle for something in between.
  • I live is WI and it varies a lot the spring! It could be cold and windy in the high 50s or sunny and warm in the 70s. I got a couple take home outfits. Both with pants. One with long sleeves and one with short sleeves and then we will cover her in the carseat with blanket.

  • It's so hard to say! I live in NH, so it might be snowing or it could be warm, it's a guessing game. I think last year it was cool at that time, but that doesn't mean anything unfortunately :/
  • I'm due in early May (well, 5/9) and here in Baltimore, MD it'll probably be at least in the 60s, but could be slightly warmer.

  • I live in sunny Los Angeles.  It should be beautiful low-mid 70's to low 80's.

I'm due May 23rd so LO could arrive in early June.

  • I'm in MD - it will probably fairly nice weather in late May - 70's and sunny:-)
  • I am in Arizona, so it will most likely be pretty warm! Hopefully no warmer then 95...but you never know.
  • Michigan weather is all over the place.  Usually Memorial Day is the start of the nice early summer weather though.  I'm pumped to have the entire summer off work w/ my LO!

  • Oh who knows! In Colorado we could have a blizzard, or it could be 75 degrees. The hospital is about 45 mninutes away in good weather so I'm hoping that blizzard isn't what we end up with :)
  • i'm in ohio, so who knows :) i'll prolly pick a few outfits from whatever we have at the time and pick one when we head to the hospital!

Haha, yep! And if its anything like last May, it'll be chilly until July!

  • Here in Scotland it'll be cold and rainy. It seems like it's a constant weather pattern here though. I see LO in lots of long sleeved onesies and knit pants.
