MIL SHOCKER! Not a vent!

She sent me a text message today and apologized for all of her crazy behavior and said that she misses me and feels bad that she did anything to upset me. I was so shocked and confused because it all came out of nowhere. People have told me that she will change when she realizes I am the one who could make or break her relationship with her first grandchild (I had no intention of keeping the baby from her) but I didn't believe it.

I wonder if this will last.

    WOW!  Nice of her admit she was wrong! and sorry to rain on your parade, but she said that through a text message? Really, she couldn't call or write it in a nice note? But I guess beggers can't be choosers when it comes to crazy MILs :)  Glad it's workin out for you!

    Yeah the text message was a strange way to do it. I almost ignored it all together thinking it was going to be something bitchy. I talked to her today and she was actually pretty nice to me. So who knows... maybe there is hope for us DILs out there.
