S really is a good kid! she doesn't listen for SH!T though and it is driving me insane. she is wild....as in non-stop active and I can't turn my back for a second. for example today I went to pee, takes what, a minute, max....when I come out she's standing on the kitchen counter.  no chair nearby so she must have done her famous chin-up then throw her legs up and onto the counter.   how am I going to do this with two?  I am so scared!

and, I could sure use a BIG FAT DRINK right now so I am counting on all the non-preggies to drink up for me please!

LOL, it's not funny, but the mental image of her maneuvering up onto the counter while you, God forbid, go take a pee break is amusing.  I usually walk back into the room with a menagerie of food products doused all over my furniture or something equally as unfortunate.  Just know that with two....well, you just drink twice as much!  ;-)

Sophia sounds like my DD1.  Seriously, it is not the 2 yo I am concerned about - it is my 4 yo.

Yeah, that sounds about right! LOL And it's so not fair that my DD won't nap anymore so it is 12hours straight of threaten/bribe/threaten/bribe. Ugh. If you ever need a break, give me a holla, we'd be happy to come down for a play date and maybe give you a break for a few hours.

Mine comes out of her room after a time out saying "I'm happy now Mama. I'm not bossy or sassy!" Sure you're not. We're not even to three yet either *sigh*

ETA: Minnas, you might be surprised at how helpful S is after the baby arrives. Not that having two is without its challenges (or that A is a total angel all the time), but she's been very good with N and very helpful.

LOL with a snort!  DS does the same only he asks, "Lemme see your bagina!  Come on!  Why's it different than mine!??"  Gross me out kid!  I need a lock on my bathroom door, for real!

Aw, you'll have plenty of those days, but one of those amazing sibling moments will make you forget all about them...until, of course, one of "those" days comes along again!

Totally agree with GHM. It's going to be 100x worse with 2, but the sibling moments COMPLETELY make up for it. DD is 8 months old now, and she's a little 'person' to DS. He LOVES making her laugh, helping out, being a big brother. Those sweet moments make the crazy ones all worth it.

B is pretty good about not getting into things (or onto things) he shouldn't. But your "put your shirt on" comment made me laugh because I feel like all I ever say to B lately is, "Can you please take your hands out of your pants?!"

I have this conversation daily:

Me: Can you please take your hands out of your pants?

B: But, mama, my buns itch.

Me: Well, can you scratch them from the outside of your pants?

B: But it feels better with my hands in my pants!

You know that I am right there with you my friend. Hell I poured a drink at 1pm today, a new record even for me, and G hasn't even turned 3 yet. 

We'll be rocking in the corner in the fetal position clutching our flasks together!!!!

I can totally picture S doing the chin up too. For real - I have NEVER seen anything like that before. But atleast she isn't a boring kid! G told me today he was boring. I told him Oh no kid, that is one thing you definately are NOT!!

Lets do a playdate next week and let the maniacs run wild.
