CG: I just need to tell someone, I know I'm pregnant. (mind you she's like probably almost 50 years old...)
Me: Really?? Why do you think that?
CG: ( Lifts her shirt up all I see is fat...) My stomach is getting so big, and my boobs itch and I feel funny! I just know I'm pregnant.
Me: Well are you on any birth control? How far along do you think you might be?
CG: Well no birth control, but I had a hysterectomy 15 years ago. I think I'm probably 3-4 months seeing how big I am now.
Me: And you still think your pregnant when you had a hysterectomy??? You don't think it's something else? Did you take a pregnancy test??
CG: Yea, I took a few and they were negative. But you know how pregnancy tests are. They're never right. So I'm going in to see my doctor next week. And in the mean time I stopped taking all my meds.
(No wonder she's been EXTRA nuts the past few weeks....)
Me: Umm, ok. Well let me know how that goes... But I doubt since you had a hysterectomy you are pregnant...
CG: Well I just know I am already.
Me: Okay, we'll see. Good luck with that. (walks away.)
Hahahahaha There is no way she's pregnant. If her waistline is expanding it's because she has 2 donuts every morning for breakfast and 4 cookies and ice cream for dessert everyday after lunch!!! Omg. Stupidity at its finest.
Re: Crazy girl at work "knows" she's pregnant. lmao
oh my...
WOW and I thought that some of the people that I worked with were CRAZY!!! LMAO she really takes the cake.
Shes going to stop taking her meds
, It doesn;t sound like she's been taking them!
EDIT: re-read and she's stopped, makes sense. I was thinking what is going to happen when she stops, if shes already loopy.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, that conversation MIGHT be the funniest thing I've ever read! It's like a skit from "The Office" I can just hear Meredith!!
How did you not laugh hysterically??!!
This is a good idea. I would be careful around her too because she does sound like she has major mental problems. Who knows if she would try to hurt you, especially if she's off her meds.
The story is really funny, but also a serious situation.
Not to be b!tchy, but wouldn't you call her more of a "crazy woman" than a "crazy girl"? You sad that she was 50.
Sorry to nitpick, that's a pet peeve of mine.
I did as soon as she walked away. Hysterically.
And she needs to be back on her meds. I agree. ASAP.
She's a girl, as in female. Not male. Sorry to have offended you?
OMG! How is this person even competent enough to hold a JOB?!?!?!?!
wow...............

I didn't mean to start anything, I just find it weird that people wouldn't talk about a grown "boy" they work with, but everyone is fine with "girl".
Just venting here... have a great weekend!
This!! LMAO!! After I read the part about stopping all her meds...I lost it with laughter!!

Run, do not walk, to your supervisor or HR rep and tell them about this interaction. She is having some kind of mental health problem and may need a referral to a psychiatrist/psychologist rather than an OB. The OB would examin the wrong end. I agree with all the other posts that she could end up being dangerous to you. I work in the mental health field and have for the past 17 years. She needs help and you need to protect yourself.
