Wow. You realize there are two different issues at stake here, right? Having a soda with a sandwich isn't going to increase your chance of contracting listeria, and eating a sandwich isn't going to magically increase the amount of caffeine in the soda.
And neither one is going to give your child two heads.

This. Do you really understand what you are/ aren't supposed to eat and why? And in case you're being serious...
If you want the pop, go for it. A certain amount of caffiene (more than is in one can) is safe.
If you want the deli meat, get a hot sandwich. Heat the meat until it's steaming. That eliminates or reduces the risk of listeria.
Then go read about what you should or should not eat and why, which may help you answer these questions for yourself.
I completely understand your worries. I would go with the soda and then get a heated or toasted sandwich. Honestly, you don't have to eliminate the caffeine completely from your diet but I did give up coffee completely, mostly because it no longer tasted good.
Also, on the lunchmeat, I thought it was overrated and then I asked my dr and while he said it is unlikely to get listeria he still advises not to eat cold lunchmeat--totally bummed me out but I am trying to eat hot sandwiches instead.
Do what feels right to you and definitely don't stress out over the little things.
Re: help me decide. i am so confused!!!
I would have both. Just me though. Everything in moderation is fine.
All these posts on what should or shouldn't I eat make me laugh. Seriously? Eat what you want
Me too.
Unless these are code words for illegal drugs, you should be fine to have both.
