I know! And its edited so well you don't really know the "truth" but so unfair for this couple--that surrogate I don't feel was right. I think dr phil felt the same way.

A woman was a surrogate for a couple (using DE and DS) and she kept the babies because she says the woman she did it for is mentally ill and an unfit parent.

I didn't see the episode today, but I did see a news story about this. I guess in their state there is some loop hole in the law. Something about contracts that can't be done until the child(ren) are born. Totally messed up, every state needs to get on board and set the laws straight, especially after this.

And theeeennn at the end Dr Phil asked the surrogate if the couple were to have tests done by multiple drs and they proved her to be not mentally ill, if she would give up the child...................and she still said no!!!!!  How heartbreaking!
