that in that living arrangement post below everyone was overwhelmingly positive about the prospect of living with their parents for a few months to save money, when only a few days ago, some nesties post about doing the same thing with her ILs was greeted with responses like, NOFUCKINGWAYWOULDIEVERDOTHISIFITWASTHELASTSHELTERONEARTH!!!!!!!!!!!! We must all have really sh!tty ILs

I like my parents WAY more than my ILs. Don't get me wrong, they're incredibly nice people, but WAY different lifestyles.

I didn't post in that thread. I couldn't live with them but if they needed care, they could live with us (in an inlaw) apartment. This will probably be what happens with my MIL one day. but I couldn't live in their house.

Dear Lord, I missed them both.  I could live with my ILs, I would SHOOT MYSELF IN THE HEAD if I had to live with my mother again.

I was one of those that said I could live with my parents but not my MIL, she would drive me batty.  She is already overwhelming.  I am just glad that DH feels the sameway.

We lived with my parents for a  month between the apartment & when our house closed.

NO WAY could I do it with my inlaws.
