BM blood

I know I've read this on here, a week or two ago when I was having diarrhea, now I am constipated and had bright red blood.  I know I need more fiber and water, any other concerns/ideas?

    This should be brought your doctor's attention.  Prolly just hemorrhoids, but better safe than sorry!

    It could also be an anal fissure.  I had one of those last week.  Cleared up on its own.  I got constipated for a day or 2.  Now I'm back to the diarrhea.

    It's normal to have a lil blood w/a large BM. your blood volume is already dramatically increasing...so you're highly vascularized down there! Just like having a little spotting after sex too. If there's bleeding after your BM for a while (and it's still bright red) I'd check w/your doc.
