Which would you do for a joint 1st and 4th bday party?

There is an outdoor pool about 2 blocks away from my house that does rentals.  Last I heard it was approximately $250 to rent for 4 hours.  You supply the food, beverages, etc.

 There is a rental hall/play center approximately a half hour away from my house.  It basically is a banquet hall that has a 1/2 basketball court, 3-4 moonbounces,  wii/ps3, foosball and pool table.  This is $575 for four hours and you have to supply food, drinks etc.  They do offer a 2 hour package too at a cheaper rate.

 My problem with the pool is what if it rains?  And I'd have to be in the pool with my children whenever they want to be in there and i'm pretty much guanteeing my 4 year old would want to be in there the whole time.

 My problem with the play center is its a half hour away and a little pricey.  What would you do?

what time of year is it, could you check the farmers almanac to see if they say it is going to rain

Between those 2 choices I would do the play center.  The pool is going to need way too much supervision and you'll drive yourself nuts!
