The thought of packing my house makes me ill

How on earth am I going to pack this house and all our crap?! I am on the hunt for boxes now. Thankfully, I am working this Sundat at TCP so, I will be able to get a bunch.

I guess I better go through each room and throw stuff out too.

You can also post on craigslist that you are looking to pick up empty boxes. I know we got rid of all of ours after we moved that way.

Call a couple of local restaurants or hotels. We got a ton of really sturdy boxes from DHs hotel. They had stuff like 6 gallon sized cans of olive oil, or boxes of cereal, so they are crush proof and able to hold heavy weights.

I just bought them all- it was so nice to have all the boxes the same size and clean.

I did sell them on CL after we moved.

I was just like this.  I packed like a box a day for 3 weeks, and had to scrabble at the end.  But I did spend 3 weeks going through stuff which really did help.

Craigslist is an awesome idea! We usually get them from the grocery store (if you ask, they'll give them to you).

I'm dreading packing if/when this house thing works out.
