Nanny's
Hello, a friend and I are considering splitting a nanny. She has a 5 year old and 2 year old and I will have a 4 month old. Her 5 year old will only need before and after school so maybe about 1 1/2 hours a day. We were wondering what do you pay per week for a nanny? Is the price based on hours or amount of kids? Does anyone share a nanny with another family? Where did you find your nanny? And how much time should we expect to find a nanny? Thanks!

In the Baltimore Area the going rate is $12 - $15 per hour for a nanny - often nanny shares get more an hour. Also, you should plan on paying mileage if you plan on having your nanny drive the children anywhere that is if you are not providing her/him with a vehicle.
