I've been TTC#3 for 17 months. This is my first month on meds so everything is different than what I'm used to (temps, CM, etc). I have PCOS and a luteal phase defect (lp anywhere from 8 - 12 days) so the RE put me on 10% progesterone lotion (vaginal) 1 gram each night. Here's my question...of course this should lengthen my lp, but when should I test? I triggered in the morning of the 20th, but my temps didn't rise until the 23rd which is when I started the progesterone. So - do I test 14 days from when I triggered or from when my temps rose? When should I expect AF?
Any suggestions would be awesome!!
Thanks!
Re: Luteal phase defect - progesterone...help...
count from the 23rd.The trigger tells your body to O, but you it takes some time (up to 3 days) to get there, hence the temp rise on the 23rd.
If you're going to wait 14 days to test, wait until at least the 6th.
