Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Duggar fans

The "Special Duggar Delivery" is on next Sunday. Don't get me wrong, I think these people are kinda crazy, but I do really like them and hope everything is going well with their preemie.

  • Oh I love the Duggers. When I am having a rough day I always say "If Michelle Dugger can have 19. I can handle 1"

  • I love watching their show!  I hope the best for the new little baby. I cant wait for the new shows to start again.
  • i really like their family - yeah, they are a bit nutty with all the kids and strict rules- but they seem like a very happy family - full of love and support and good values - i hope their little girl is doing OK. 25 weeks is very early to be born :(
  • Ooh, thanks, i want to watch them.  I also think that they are kinda nutty and don't agree with everything they do (ie having the other children homeschool the younger ones, etc) but overall I do kinda like them and they all seem very happy.

Do you think the recent health problems will make them stop trying for more children?  I don't mean that insensitively...I've always pictures them with 20 at least!  But I know this isn't the first time mom has had preeclampsia, and I imagine that woul dbe quite a worry.

  • Aw, I had no idea new shows were starting up and that she was having the baby so early.  I like to watch them because i also think if she can do it with so many I can certainly get thru the day with only one.  But some of the stuff they do is kinda off.....seem like nice enough people tho.  Hopefully I remember to watch

Honestly, no. I think it would be dumb for them to have more children, if she had problems with this one and the last one was breech with an emergency c-section, what could go wrong with the next one?  I am not sure if age had to do with either complications but it sure seems like it. They should also keep in mind about downs syndrome her risk for DS at her age is 1 in 60 by age 49 its 1 in 12! It just seems like a risk that I wouldnt want to take especially since she has 19 other kids to worry about.
