All these places I want to go, but won't.

So I have a really good friend getting married in two months in Virginia.  If I were on my own, I would go in a heartbeat.  But DH doesn't like to travel, I don't know about leaving or taking DD, I don't want to take time off from work, and airplane tickets cost money.  So I probably won't go.

*sigh*  Seems to happen a lot these days.  Nothing is ever worth the hassle of making arrangements.

I get this feeling every once in while and find myself occaissionly thinking "it was so much simpler when I was single/when we didn't have DD"

DH and I were just discussing this very topic last night. A bunch of his friends are having a cookout/get together a one of their houses 4 hours away. Being that it is that far, we'd have to spend the night. We just found out about it last night, so it's too late to make overnight arrangements for DD so we'd have to bring her with us. And we'd have to bring the pack n play for her to sleep in, her tub seat for a bath, bottles, toys, etc, etc, etc. It's just too much trouble to hang out.
