Anyone ever rent a camper?

We're going to go camping this summer and was thinking about renting a camper/motor home.  I saw some listings in craigslist, but nervous that it's not a business.  Some of the camper stores rent them, but they are expensive.  Anyone ever rent one, or know what to watch out for?

We rented in Alaska.  We flew to Anchorage picked up our RV and where on the road for 7 days.  It wans't sure I would like to small space and small bathroom, but it was a great experience.  I did a lot of research before I choose the right company.  Sorry, I haven't research local companies however.

They have a great trip where you pick up the brand new camper at the factory and drive it to Alaska in the spring.
