I felt alot better after 14 weeks. Everyone is different but it does seem like even those pregnant with twins feel less nausous and get more energy after 1st tri.
Now the extreme hunger? I was absolutely starved the entire 3rd trimester. I had to pack 2 lunches and sometimes that wasnt enough.

well that makes me feel better. Ok now my next question...how much did u gain, if u dont mind my asking....i feel like i'm going to be a hippo and know if my stomach is hungry i have to eat but i just feel like im eating tooo much.
what is the normal gain for a twin pregnancy? I have to get a book lololol
I'm on and off starving. But, I'm also chasing around a 2yo. Which means I'm always exhausted.
I've gained 7 lbs thus far. The recommended book by Dr. Luke recommends 20 lbs by 20 weeks, I think. I'm definitely not there. But, every OB/MFM has different thoughts.

It does get better. In the middle of the 2nd tri. I had a lot of energry and got stuff done. The nausea, well, not to scare you, I had it until 18 weeks and then it came back at 27 weeks. I was insanely hungry even with m/s, it went through the whole pregnancy. The problem at the end is that the kids were pushing on my stomach so I couldn't eat lot in one sitting so I had to eat mini meals. I ended up gaining 63lbs. (20 of which was water weight) I did not gain the 20 by 20weeks, had no problem packing it on after that.

Just to be honest.... I had morning sickness (all day sickness) until 22 weeks. It was horrible. I know that a lot of the girls are packing on the pounds early based on Dr. Lukes book but I just could not. There was days that were a chore to eat. Sounds like my experiance is a little different though. Good luck and do not be afraid to ask your ob for meds. The one I was on made be very sleepy but it really made life more bareable.
I had no morning sickness but the exhaustion seemed to ease up around 16 weeks and I was able to stay awake past 8pm, but then the migraines kicked in and lasted a few weeks.

i never got sick, but the tiredness went away at about 13 weeks for me. then i got hungry! i got to the 20 by 20 (like Dr. luke's book suggests) and it was not an effort, i just ate when i would get hungry. i put on 50 lbs total and have lost it all already. if you figure there was about 12 lbs of baby when they were born, plus the extra water weight and placentas and blood volmue and all that stuff i ended up with the same extra 15 lbs as a singelton.
My energy came back at about 12 wks - when I still thought it was a singleton pg. The nausea went away in 2nd tri too. Biggest difference from my 1st pg now is more breathlessness and a bigger belly.
I was sick (like really sick, not just nauseous) for the first 20 weeks. I ate whenever I was hungry and made healthy choices, I cut out all fast food, ate a lot of fruit and veggies and stuff like that. I gained 28lbs my entire pregnancy. I was overweight to begin with for my height and my Dr was okay with my weight gain.
Sorry to say, still queasy, but not as a bad as earlier in the pregnancy. My appetitie is still not much but I drink protein shakes to help with that and still eat a healthy diet, just not hungry in general. Everyone is different, I hope you feel better soon!
