Success after IF

Another thing about responding to posts...

Maybe I'm the only one, but I honestly don't remember when I reached a lot of pregnancy milestones last time or exactly when Ava started doing certain things.  I was just thinking about this earlier tonight.  I wanted to respond to the post about feeling movement, but I had to look at my blog because I couldn't remember what week I felt it with Ava (thank goodness I recorded that stuff!).  Then I wanted to respond to the post about when we started table food, and I couldn't!  For the life of me, I cannot remember.  I think that unless you are going through that particular phase at that particular moment, the details are often so blurry!  Am I the only one with a terrible memory for this stuff?

  • LOL those are 2 posts I did respond to!! But yes it makes lots of sense- these kids are reaching new milestones everyday so it's hard to remember.

  • I'm always amazed when people remember all that stuff, down to the day! I have had a couple thoughts about how there is no way I will remember all those dates! I'm lucky I remember my anniversary.
  • i can totally relate i can't remember anything date related ever. i had to go in the calendar of my iphone to tell the u/s tech my iui date the other day!

  • Yes, I really don't remember the table food (as compared to solids) either -- totally drew a blank with that one.  I think I remember more pg details than first year of DD's life details! :)

  • I'm the same way. Movement (the 1st time anyway) is actually one of the few things I do remember. I forget everything. I said I was going to be soooo good at writing things down in dd's baby book, as it turns out I suck at it.

My grammer sucks too so don't grade me please!

Ava is so cute! Feel like I have not "talked" to you in foreverCrying

  • I totally agree with you.  I think it's hard to remember because there are soooo many milestones.  You're not alone, for sure!
