Asked if I was due soon! (+ belly PIP)

I was at the grocery store today (and unzipped my coat because I get so overheated), and the woman behind the seafood counter asked me if I was due soon!  Geez, I know I'm big, but I didn't think I looked about ready to give birth!

FWIW, here I am today, a day shy of 22 weeks, but measuring at about 29 for a singleton pregnancy.  What do you think -- ready to deliver?

Dont worry...you look great! People dont know what they are talking about! I had a singleton pregnancy the second time, and people thought I was about to pop when I still had over two months left.

I think you look great!!!  People say stupid crap to pg ladies.  At about 33 wks my mom was in the hopsital.  So I went to go visit her and when I was at the desk trying to find out where she was the lady cut me off and said that the maternity ward was on the 5th floor and that by the looks of it I should get there fast.

Thanks, ladies, lol.  Luckily I'm used to people saying idiotic things and it doesn't really phase me anymore.  One of my students (who doesn't know I'm having twins) said to me on Friday, "So, you must be about three months pregnant, huh?"  !?!?!?!

And when I was pg with Ava, this cashier at Kohls kept telling me that my due date must be several weeks off because I was way too small to be 32 weeks (and Ava was measuring 2 weeks ahead, ha ha).

Why do people even open their mouths?

no way, you don't look like you're ready to deliver!  but i suppose some women do have small bellies even at the end, and maybe she or someone she knows did, which is why she thought that of you.

Jill, I just showed your picture and only your picture to DH.  I didn't give him any background that you were pregnant with twins or that this was your second pregnancy.  I just showed him the picture.  I asked him how far along you were.

He said...7 months.  I said would you agree with 28 weeks?  He said that would be his guess.  So, when I told him that you were 22w pregnant with twins (measuring 29w with your second pregnancy) and I told him that you got called out at the grocery store...he said that woman was stupid.  He said that you looked like you were all baby!

YGM!  Let me know if you don't get the invite.  I haven't done the best job of keeping up with my blog (it's on my to-do-list for today, in fact, lol), but there are some details about our last IVF cycle mixed in there!
