DS army crawled starting around 9 months...then on Christmas Day, he just popped up on his knees and knew how to crawl! He was just past 10 months. There was no inbetween...no up on knees rocking...just up and then crawling. Within a week of crawling, he pulled up for the first time on the coffee table...then started pulling up on EVERYTHING. Less than a week later, he was cruising. We're still at the cruising stage now.
Grace is past 9 months right now and isn't crawling yet. She scoots around on her belly. She will get up on all fours but hasn't actually moved forward yet. Don't worry. I know a lot of babies who didn't crawl until somewhere in their 10th month.:)
Re: What age did your baby start crawling?
He started at 6 mos, but ditto PP.
I didn't crawl as a baby until AFTER i'd learned to walk. All babies are different. :-)
Almost 7 months.
6.5 months.
It seems the average is 8-10 months though and some babies never crawl. It's not even considered a milestone due to this.
