My insurance SUCKS ass - yeah, I know I should be grateful that I have insurance - bla bla bla
Anyway, Cora probably needs one. Cranial Tech (DOC Band) does not take our insurance - and our insurance will only cover pennies after our co-insurance. Which means that we would have to pay for almost 75% of the cost.
So, I know htere are other bands/helmets/etc besides a DOC band. Anyone know of other places that do "cranial orthoics"
And - if you are in NJ, did you use someone other than CranialTech?
Re: Alternative to a DOC Band (AKA - helmet)
Starband is another brand of helmet .... here is their website .... I'm sure you could call the company directly to try and find a provider near you:
