Baby-sitting fee...

I have just one boy who is almost a year old now and am going to have a neighbor girl (who is 13) start baby-sitting him.  I have no idea what the going rate is these days!  Can anybody shed some light on this issue for me?

For a young teenager, I have no idea, sorry! We pay a 30 year old nanny $12 per hour, and 19 year old SIL gets $5 an hour.

I have no idea what the going rate is but I would also say $5 an hour. We pay our babysitter $8 (even though she asks $7). She's 21 and runs her own daycare.
