Baby Showers

Need Cute and Affordable Invites

I am hosting a baby shower for a friend in a few months and I'm looking for cute but affordable invitations.  I'd like to keep them to a max of $1/card.  I've looked at Target and a couple of other stores but haven't found anything I like yet....   thanks for your ideas!

  • Have you tried Etsy?  Tons of affordable cards with a very custom look...most are  a you print kind of thing.
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Ditto. Got great bridal shower invites for my SIL and a great price. I also received them very quickly.

  • Also, I have a ton and at this point am so sick of tripping over the box I'm willing to sell them at cost which isn't much of anything.  They are professional invites. They all came from Inviting Co and Cross my Heart.

You'd have to print them yourself but it's not that difficult.  I even have diecuts if you wanted to go less and make them on your own.

    I have this one

Depending if it's a boy or a girl I have a ton of different onces. Cost is anywhere from .27 to .60 each depending on what you want. I have the envelopes as well that go with them.  At this point I just am tired of seeing them in my house lol

  • I like to design my invites myself and then get them printed at sam's for like 38 cents an invite...like PP said about etsy.com.   You can also get it printed at like office max on cardstock, for like 60 something cents but then you'd have to cut them yourself.  GL

  • I also suggest vistaprint.com

Before you go to their site, search on google for a coupon code, usually you click on a link that brings you to their web site and it automatically gives you discounted prices on everything.  There is ALWAYS a coupon for that site!  GL!

  • You should try ebay. They have really cute ones at great prices!

  • I made the invites for a shower I am hosting in a month.  I went to Michaels and got scrapbook paper/ cardstock that was thick and matched theme, vellum, and little brad fasteners (they have many shapes and colors).  I just designed the invite on word, printed it on vellum, and attached it to the scrapbook paper using the brads.  They turned out really well and it was only $10.00 for materials (with coupons).

  • At Target, you can buy invites that you can print at home.  Really cute ribbons on them and envelopes included.

     GL!

  • I also say vistaprint.com

My friend got my baby shower invites from their last week and we got 50 printed invites with envelopes for $18.  They are super cute and super cheap.  You will have to google for the discount codes, since I've ordered stuff from their before they send me emails all the time with discounts on stuff, so that's how we got them so cheap.
