I'm not sure if they'll be able to answer your question or if you should ask your OB, but I wish I had asked if there are any hard and fast policies re: induction with GD patients.

I've heard different stories from different girls here and it seems like each hospital has their own procedure for how far along they will let a pregnancy go with GD before inducing (assuming the baby stays at a good size), and I'm sure it also depends on whether a case is diet controlled, or requires more medication.

Like I said, I dunno if your nutritionist will be able to answer, but I wish I had asked them before just to give myself a better idea of what my near future may look like.  Now I suppose I'll just wait until my next appt.  GL!

My next appt is a week from tomorrow so I'll make sure to ask that.  I've seen a lot of different responses as well.
