So, I received a billing statement from Farmers stating that I owe $25 dollars for FLEX Payment of a Life Insurance Policy I have on DS.  I had a very small one through my previous employer and I took out a small one here at my new employer.   I figured the bill was from the previous one lapsing so I never called. 

I am still getting these statements for the $25 and I looked at statement to see if it had the agent that I could call.  Turns out the agent is my sister's boyfriend (she's married).  It has to be him because he spells his name different then the traditional spelling of his name and I've never met anyone else that spells it that way.  I also know he works at Farmers.  I really don't want to talk to him about it because I know I couldn't refrain from being snide, especially since he plays golf with my sister's husband on the weekends.  So do I ask for a different agent and what do I say when they ask why?

About your bill, so, I'm assuming you never opened this insurance policy? I'm confused.

Regardless of the financial/business side of this . . . they are adults and they make their own decisions--whether they be good or bad.  If this guy is in charge of your insurance, then you need to first get it straightened out with him.  Tell HIM you'd like someone else in charge of your account, if you really don't think you could handle it.  He'll know why.  (Of course, all this is assuming that you are right about all of this in the first place.)

Oh, I am definitely right about it.  No doubt at all.  I think he's sleazy and I do not want him to be my agent.  I'm assuming this policy is the one from my previous employer.  He knows who I am and my last name so I'm sure it will be uncomfortable discussing it with him.  Especially since I recently called him out on Facebook for his profile picture being of my sister and the rest of the pictures on his page being of her.  Sickening especially since his profile page is public and my BIL is also on FB.  My brother and I have decided to stay out of it for the most part being that she is an adult and is making her bed.  But to actually speak to him on the phone.  I have no tolerance for his specific brand of scum.
