Wow...really???(NIFR)

So long story short...my younger cousin spilled hot cooking oil on his cat. The cat had to be taken to the vet, and of coure now he has a vet bill. So said cousin claims that he and his 20 y/o wife both work full time, live @ home with her parents and don't pay a single bill...but they need help paying the vet bill. So they decided to email everyone ask for us to buy used video games and such to help pay for the cat's vet bills. Just days after he posts that he doesn't have a job again (he's been fired from all of his last employers. One of which he stole money from.)

I replied and explained that incase they hadn't noticed the whole world was struggling and that it is quite tacky to ask people for money. His wife felt so inclined to repsond with a very nice email informing me that "it's best that you keep your fat f*ing mouth shut, while you are ahead. My cat is my baby and if you have a problem with that then you can step this way and I'll solve it for you. A lot of people done read what you wrote up on here and think you are jacked up. I got no problem going pshyco on you B*tch."

There was a lot more to that email but I'll spare you. Lord please give me the strength...seriously. And then cousin himself says "Your the one that didn't bother to show up to our wedding or even give us money for that. We came to yours and gave you money when we didn't have it to give."

So let me get this straight...I who was working two jobs at the time that you got married, should have taken the day off of work (even though I coudn't afford to), come to your wedding AND give you money...when I've got a house payment and two car payments plus all the other added expenses to worry about...I think not.

And the fact that he would be ok with his wife threatening someone in his family...WOW! Oh not to mention the fact that he got rather upset a year or two ago when he wanted to come see HIS grandmother to pick up his birthday card, because he needed the money to by invitations for his girlfriends birthday party, and I told him I wasn't coming to get him because my dad was very ill at the time and we were caring for him.

NICE! I guess they should be more careful & not spill HOT oil on their animals that they care for so much.! I would grant them NO help sorry!

They sound...lovely.

That poor cat. I'm sure if they spoke with the vet they could set up a payment schedule. I've never been to a vet in my life that won't work with you in times of emergency.

Oh and I love how to them the sole purpose of inviting you to their wedding seems to be to get money.

As if you even said anything bad about the cat- she's so stupid for making it seem like you don't care about the cat.  If anyone believes that, then they are stupid
