Dh's ER is getting 30 orphans tonight.

DH is a resident in an ER and apparently they are getting 30 haitian orphans tonight to take care of, I have no idea where the kids will be going afterward. My heart just breaks for these little children.  How terrifying it must be for them. I cannot imagine.
Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     no one seems to know. I mean I'm sure SOMEONE knows, but no one he works with seems to know.

    Wow...it'll probably be a rewarding exerience for him to be able to help.  With tragedies like this, the people seem so far away and you want to do something to help but feel like sending $ is the only way! 

     Keep us posted if you find out any news about the little one's adoption plans!!

    Oh my goodness.  Those poor kiddos.  Must be so so so scary for them.  Is there any chance the hospital is collecting/providing clothes, shoes, toys etc for them?  I'm assuming they aren't coming with many belongings.

    Wow, that must be such an emotional experience knowing what these kids have been through and then trying to make them feel safe and cared for.  Update us if you can.

    pls keep us posted. truly emotional for them. poor kiddos. my heart just aches for them the most.....
    After 7 years of marriage and 5 unsuccessful IVFs, we have been granted the gift of adopting a baby boy, born 4/21/11.
