Just told my husband

It went fine.  I softened the blow by first telling him how my step-dad's car battery died today and did something to his car and locked him inside it and he had to call the dealer to send someone to get him out (Hilarious story told by Mom to me, and I was laughing so hard I missed some details).

Then, I told him about my BIL who got put in the hospital today b/c his BP got high - he's been kind of sick.  Scary thing, my 13 yo nephews had to call 911.

Then I just said - okay I'm going to just tell you I'm pregnant.  And he said "I figured that".  I told him that I did not know when he asked me Saturday and that is what prompted me to test.  Told him it was confirmed yesterday and I have an appointment to see the doctor tomorrow.  Then he said "Congratulations".  And he asked if this is what I wanted.  I told him absolutely without a doubt I want this baby, but I did admit the timing is off and not what we planned for and he said the same things many of you did - that it'll work itself out and we'll figure out the other stuff like selling the house now or later and trading the car, etc, etc. 

So, he knows.  He's digesting.  Things are going to be fine.
