Toddlers and Tiara's - how can anyone watch it

Seriously, I just saw an ad for it and I find it repulsive...the way the kids are dressed, the provocative ways the parents have them dance, the fact that some of the kids freak out and are made to perform.  I seriously think that watching that is supporting it, I understand watching other train wrecks but this is about kids.  Disgusting.

I'm even puzzled as to how the kids even put up with all the stuff.  My dd would have none of that I tell ya!

My DD loves it, she loves wearing heals and tutus and all the glam.  I mostly shop at REI, so not sure where it comes from, though my cousin currently holds a National Padget title and was recently on the Today Show and is frequently in parades and such.

I can't not watch it. It is like a train wreck. I dvr it and watch it when I could be doing productive things like cleaning my house while my child naps.

I just think the way they sexualize those little girls is disgusting.

 I would never put my daughter in a pagent to beging with it, but then to also put it on tv to invite any pedophile with cable to watch ...that is what really disturbs me about it.
