Ugh, PTing not going so great today...

Tell me that this is normal. Yesterday, by the end of the day yesterday, DS was going on the potty without going in his undies at all. Today, he only went in the potty twice. Once he peed in his underwear also. The rest of the time, he's peed in his undies and when we sit him on his potty, he doesn't go. I'm a little frustrated, but I'm thinking it's probably normal. We had to run to the store really quickly today so I put a pullup on him and he threw a fit about it, he wanted to wear his undies. So, I know he's okay with wearing undies, but he's just not making it to the potty in time.

Bummer.  Today was a good potty day for us, but I've had bad ones too.  Don't let it get you down.  Patience, persistence and consistency.  It'll happen.

How about a nice trashy novel and some goodies in bed.  You deserve a break.

I know some kids do it over night, but that wasn't the case for us.  For Evan, it was a process.  In the beginning, there were good days and bad days, but I knew from the good days that he could do it, so I persisted.  Don't give up!  If he was using the potty yesterday, then I think he's ready.  He just needs more practice.

I know he can do it too, since he did yesterday. I was just so proud yesterday to have a bad day today sucked. I'm definitely not giving up, but just need some words of encouragement.
