video monitor question

If you have a video monitor, at what age do you think you'll take it out of LO's room?

Not until he's like 18. haha just kidding.  Probably when he starts changing his clothes on his own/wants his own privacy.

ill keep it for a while. dont always have to use the video its just really nice to have!

My DD is over 2 and there is no way we'll stop using it anytime soon.  I always thought it was so great using it when she was a baby, but it's even more useful now!  Best baby item ever I think, I couldn't live without mine!

I keep joking that it will be most useful when she's old enough to have friends and boys in her room!    In all seriousness, probably not until she's two or three.

I have no idea...hadn't thought that far ahead yet.

I may keep it for quite a long time and just not use the video unless it's the middle of the night and I need to decide whether or not to go into the room.  I never want to go in there if I don't need to, I don't want to startle him.  

I don't even know how long people "usually" keep their monitors for.  I really just plan to play it by ear.
