0-3er with ? re: Paragard

My OB/GYN won't insert Paragard until I'm 12w PP so I'm assuming that's normal practice and you ladies will have more answers than 0-3.

What can you tell me about when you had it put in? What was it like? Did it hurt? Was it uncomfortable? Etc. etc. Any input would be appreciated. I'm having mine put in February 23rd. I'm a little nervous.

It was much like getting a pap. It didn't hurt, but I did have a little bit of cramping and spotting the first week. After that, all was well. I haven't had any issues since.
