I just had english muffin pizzas!

Yummy!  I forgot how good, easy and relatively low in points they are!

  • oh man, those are yummy and easy!! I'll have to remember those for lunch ideas!
  • really?  They are low in pts?  Cool!  My girls make them all the time for snacks since they are super easy & quick.

  • Those sound so good right now! Yum and they are low in points

  • english muffins = 2pts.

    sauce = 0. Or maybe 1.  half/cup = 1pt and I use about a tbsp.

    cheese --- shredded cheese.  1pt for 1/4 cup.  I split the 1/4 cup between the two.

    So that's 3 points.  Added 6 slices of pepperoni this time --- 1pt.  So four points for both halves.  YUM!

  • I live off english muffins.  I swear they are a dieter's dream.

    I love making english muffin pizzas for lunch.

  • DD made those in a cooking class that she took last summer.  She actually whipped those up for herself and her brother for dinner over the weekend!

    I've never made them and now will have to.

    What temp and how long in the oven?

  • I actually toast my english muffins first.  Then I put the sauce and cheese (and whatever toppings) on top and then I have a "toasting" feature on my oven that I use.  It is 4 minutes long and I *think* is equivalent to broiling at 400 for that amount of time.

    Just enough to warm the sauce and melt the cheese.

  • I love english muffins and now those sound so good.
