I work with mostly men and one of them is having a baby this week. They have everything they need so I'm not sure what to do for him, but should definately do something bc everyone chipped in and got me a gift card and highchair when DS was born. Should we do a diaper shower or something? How do those work?? TIA!
Re: Need suggestions for baby gift for male coworker...
Maybe a diapers.com gift card, to save him from mid-night diaper runs? Or a folder of take out places and a visa card to help him "cook dinner"?
Dude-diaper bag?
BRU gift card is always good
Or diapers
Or get something for his wife - something you loved as a new mom.
Are they having a boy or girl? Price range? I like to give this:
DD has 2 and she carries them everywhere!
ETS: Diapers and wipes are always awesome too!
we had a little baby shower over breakfast for one of our male co-workers, he loved it. we just had bagels, juice, fruit, cake, put up some decorations and had a few gifts. everyone chipped in for a big gift and a few others had gifts as well. it was super nice.
my favorite little dad gift is a small photo album. people constantly ask dad to see pictures and he should have something nice to put them in. i felt bad that i didn't have something for DH to carry around when I had DD. fortunately, he had no shame and carried around a little pink album, haha!
DH is a HS coach and his team (and the moms) had a diaper shower for us with DD. All the kids brought a pack of diapers or wipes, or balmex, and we didn't have to worry about diapers until DD was 5 months old! It was amazing!!!
