? for those who have the Mirena

I've already put in a call to my midwife and I'm waiting for them to call back...just want to see what you guys have experienced too. So I got my Mirena put in about 2 weeks ago and I'm still having some bad cramping and random pains that come and go.I have no clue if this is normal or not. After I got the mirena in I had cramping for 2 days then it stopped and now it's back and has been going on for about a week now. Any one else experience this?

    I had some cramping for a day or two after it was inserted.  As far as cramping 2 weeks later, no I didn't...could it be your period & cramps associated w/that?

    Call your doc to double-check.

    Def. not period cramps...I was on it when I had the Mirena put in. This is no fun!

    i'm still having spotting and i got mine back in nov!  it does get better (although i hated hearing that).  i'm not sure if i've gotten a period or not, but i've had more and more spotting free days.  i still use pantiliners and granny panties just in case (i feel so unsexy anyways b/c of nursing/hormones/post baby bod).

    it's frustrating.  hang in.  i'm hoping it's worth it.
