Just thought I would point this out:

"Mom almost kills baby with diluted formula"

I think the same-ish thing works for straight water.

    That is horrible, poor baby. Thank God she got him to the ER on time.

    BTW, do we recognize mom from somewhere? Hanson maybe?

    Are you freaking kidding me!! What a dumbA$$$!! I don't even understand what she's saying, I think she's saying that she was shorting the bottles by 2 scoops! Because she didn't get enough formula from WIC, ummm so buy yourself ONE fvcking can a month extra, I mean seriously, you don't have $15 a month to spend on your CHILD.... wow..... this is why there should be a law requiring people that want children to pass a parenting curriculum, an IQ test, make a certain amount of money, and a handful of other BASIC things... my god!

    That is so sad & scary. I think you would have to give a lot of water for that ( a lot for a beby is a little I suppose). But I guess not everyone has the common sense to limit LO to an oz of water a day. L gets a little from his sippy cup when eatign cereal and thats it, less then an oz a day.

    My MIL has been asking about giving water to DD since we left the hospital and when I tried to explain this to her she said, "That's not true!"  And she wonders why she hasn't babysat for us yet!

    How sad...that poor baby.

    My FIL constantly asks why we aren't giving the boys water in bottles like they did when my DH and his brother were babies.  I don't know how many times I need to explain that water is only going to fill their tiny bellies with emptiness, when they will get all their hydration from formula.....

    I give Mason about 2oz of water every other day from the pedi's orders to help with his constipation. But I wouldnt be doing something like that. Of course theres been people who mess up the formula a couple of times, but I just stick to what the can tells me.  Between the two of them, they could have afforded it. Heck, recylce some things, sell some things, do what you have to do to properly feed your child.

    LaDamian? Sheesh. I really, really wanted Damien as a name for LO but SO shot it down like no other, mainly because of the movie. That creepy little kid ruined it for me.
