Any Cloth AF Pad Users? (& Others Dealing w/ Prometrium Messiness)

I had my meds/injection class today and realized just how long I'll be taking Prometrium each month. I have 7 cloth liners, which does it for AF, but I think I'll want more for this since it will be a whole LP plus either AF or 10 more weeks of it if PG.  Thoughts?

  • usually you wont need heavy duty pads for prometrium. panty liners work fine.

Thanks for responding. I am glad to hear that. I haven't used a thick pad in years, and am happy to never go back (Diva Cup user). Thick pads just feel so icky to me

I am more wondering how many liners I will want--1 a day, 2 a day? Since I don't use disposables, it isn't as simple as going out to buy a new box. I have to plan how many to have in between doing special laundry loads.

  • I agree, liners are fine.  Depending on how often you like to change them, I'd think 2 or 3 a day would do.  I don't get a ton of leakage with Prometrium, but I like to wear panty liners just in case.

    ETA:

Oh, and a tip to prevent leakage... put the Prometrium in then lay down for a few minutes (so before bed works great).  It'll help them dissolve and not leak as much.
