moms who get migranes...

What do you do with LO if you're really knocked down by one?  Lizzie is in her PNP right now, but I'm not sure how long she'll be happy there. DH gets home at 3, but I'm not sure how bad my migrane will get by then.  She just woke up so I doubt she'll go down for a nap anytime soon.

Re: moms who get migranes...

  • I let her play by herself as much as possible.  If she's fussing, I will turn on the TV and turn the volume way down to try and distract her.  I don't ever let her watch TV unless I'm feeling WAY crummy.

When I get migraines it's all I can do not to puke, and I want to just go lay in a dark/quiet room.  I just make do until DH gets home, then I go to bed.

  • ugh... I am screwed when they come on, I'm allergic to migraine medicine (it almost gives me cardiac arrest...!) So my only pain option is pain medication, so I have a Rx for Percocet. If they get bad enough I take it, but a lot of times that doesn't even work so I suffer until DH gets home and I can go lay down.
