Am I the only one that has started 'planning' my LO's first birthday? We have already decided what weekend it is going to be, and where (my in-laws backyard).

 

And depending on if you guys think I am crazy I may or may not of already starting designing the invites and theme.

lol I am no where close to planning her first birthday. It seems so far away. I do know what weekend it will be on though.

No, not yet, I have thought about whether or not to put DDs together since their bdays are only 15 days apart.  We might after this year, it is just a lot of work to have 2 sep. parties when they are so close together and Kate won't remember.

I saw some adorable Cookie Monster cupcakes, so I want to make those...but thats all I have for now.

The main reason I have started planning is because DS birthday is at the end of July and we are having it at my in-laws where they have an awesome backyard with a pool. So this is my motivation to lose some baby weight and get toned to fit into a super cute bathing suit.

My DH and I have already been planning where we want the party at and who to invite.  So I don't think your crazy at all.  Or maybe we both are:)  DH wants to be able to invite quite a few people so we think we are going to do a party at a park in a pavilion.  Lots of our close friends have children and we want to be able to invite them all.  I don't want to go to crazy for his first birthday since he won't even remember it, but we can do something fun and large for minimal cost I think. 

I know this is more than you were asking for, it was just good to talk about:)

Haha, nope!  I picked out the weekend and have already started looking at invitations, decorations and cake ideas.  I already picked out the theme, too.

Yes, I too have started planning for DD's 1st bday!!  I know it will be here before we know it.  I have been looking at cakes from all the amazing cake shops that are out there now.  I love parties and can't wait!!

That is our idea also, I have a huge family and we have a lot of close friends that we want to invite. We are probably just going to BBQ and have tons of snacky foods.
