If you're still looking for ways to help in Haiti, consider this organization, restavekfreedom.org. It helps children who are slaves in Haiti. Yes, they still have slaves. The CEO happened to be in Haiti on Tuesday and is now running a massive relief effort well beyond whom they usually serve, and they are trying to find the child slaves they support and send to school.

You can read updates at restavekfreedom.tumblr.org. I will warn you; it is not a religious organization but gets a lot of support from churches as you will read, so for anyone that would bother, head's up.

The founder is a former child slave himself who's been on Oprah, CNN and spoken to the UN. I know him personally and he's an amazing guy. I can vouch for this organization 100%. ALL of your money will go to help Haiti's children.
