A nice compliment from last night...

We went out with my co-workers last night and even though DH had only met a few people once before he was okay with me going out on the dance floor with a couple girls and guys while he talked to my co-workers. Then later he came out and danced with everyone. I had 3 girls call me today to tell me what a good couple we are and how they were surprised that DH was fine without me and then danced with us when I asked him to. It was very sweet!

(I was actually pretty shocked how many husbands wouldn't dance with their wives and even one guy got mad that his girlfriend was group dancing with another guy even though he wouldn't step foot on the dance floor and it was her b-day!)

That's great! It's strange, but a little recognition from an outside source can help strengthen a relationship even if it's already great.
