Oh I got it.  He's the medical director of a medi-spa.  It doesn't look like he's an actual plastic surgeon.  That makes total sense (ha ha in a way).  So many ob/gyns are getting into cosmetic procedures / companies in order to make more money.  We make very little these days.  This must have been his way of supplementing his income; plus he made have an interest in cosmesis.  One of my friends is an ER doc who is the medical director of a medi spa.  His wife actually performs the procedures.

OK, that makes sense.  Honestly, when I googled him at first (before becoming a patient) I didn't quite understand how he has this medical spa going as well as being a Peri.  I thought it was strange, actually, because the two are unrelated.  But I am so glad I didn't let that deter me from seeing him.  I love him so much.  He has been nothing short of amazing to work with through this pregnancy.  And I guess I know where I can go now should I need some cosmetic procedures done down the road.
