Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Anyone's 3 month old have teeth?

My 3 1/2 month old has a tooth that broke through already. We have our dr. appt. in 2 weeks. Did your dr. start you on cereal because of this? My LO can't fully grasp the teething rings because they are usually too cold. Anything else besides abesol (sp?) to help out?

  • My DD does. She has 2. She puts her hands in her mouth all the time but for the most part has handled it really well. I have not given her anything yet cause she has not gotten incredibly fussy. However I have Hyland's teething tablets on standby. They are all natural and quick dissolving. They worked great for my DS. My pedi recommended that I do not use any numbing agents. Apparently it came numb the throat too and that is unsafe. I know lots of people use it though without trouble.

  • my guy got his bottom two around 3.5 months...he is working on the top four right now. One has popped through, but the others are really swollen. You can give tylenol if its really bad, other than that and the anbesol (sp?) its just teething toys that are cold. They make some sort of teething tablets but some say that they arent safe, so i wouldnt use them unless you research the ingredients.
