I love the smell...

of a breastfed baby!  For some reason my nose loves my little boy's smell.  I know how a formula fed baby smells and that is nothing compared to my little one.  Now, sitting at work, I want to go home just to smell him.  I must be crazy right?  Anyone else feel this way?

Well.. I assume every mom loves the smell of her baby (well, most of the time).

That said, I do think the smell of breastmilk is much sweeter than the kind of gross smell of formula.. So yeah, I think BF babies smell a little better (particularly their breath). That said, mine were both BF for 6 months and then FF for 6 months and I loved their smells the whole time. Still do.

i'm sure all moms love the way their babies smell... but as a pedi i agree 100% that breastfed babies smell better! formula smells yucky!

The smell of formula -- in the bottle, on a baby's breath, or on it's way out (spit-up or poo) -- is just awful to me.  This past week, when I was struggling so much with BFing, I just kept thinking I couldn't stand the thought of formula, in part because it STINKS so bad.  Besides, we're CDing, and EBF poo is so much easier to deal with!
