Potty training ?

My DD will be 2 next month and she has been in underwear all week, except for naps and night time.  She has had a few accidents, which normal I know but she could seem to care less if she poops in her pants.....is that normal?!!  My DD never had an accident, when he decided he was ready it was done, he was like 2.5.  People tell me poop is the harder one, is that anyone else experience, any tricks?
