I'm so sad. We were finally going to order our crib today. JC Penny has the set we want and it's on sale right now, two days ago when I was looking, if you have it shipped to the nearest store it was free shipping. That is no longer an option and the big sale ends today. I'm so sad!! I'm definitely not paying $80.00 for shipping when it was free two days ago. I guess I will wait for both promotions to be going on at the same time again. Ugh. I actually called JC Penny customer service and was super nice, like corny nice even, LOL trying to get the "free shipping code" and they wouldn't give it to me.

Just needed to vent to someone that would understand.

I found this free shipping code online -- good until February 1st.  I have no idea if it's valid or not.  It says free shipping on orders of more than $99 delivered anywhere in the contiguous 48 states.

Also, check out CSNbaby.com.  My co-worker ordered all of her baby furniture here. They sell a lot of the same brands as JCPenney and Babys R Us and they offer free shipping on all orders over $69.  I love this website!!

That sucks- try that other code- I thought it was free ship to store through February. We just ordered ours from JC Penney with free ship to the store on Monday. I would call JC Penney and demand they give you the free ship to the store today. Forget being nice! HAHA! Hey the economy sucks they need to be happy people are still buying furniture!

Thanks ladies! Well, I tried both. I tried that code and it's not valid for shipping apparently and I called demanding free shipping. LOL That didn't work either. GRRR! I'm ready to go else where. I guess I will try that other site. I have never heard of it but will give it try. Thanks again.

I also just got an email with free shipping on orders of $75 or more (it didn't exclude furniture, but did say it didn't cover things requiring a truck to deliver to you) -- try STOCK75.

OOh, turn that frown upside down!  Look at https://projectnursery.com/.  I got a LOT of great ideas.  They also list where they get many of their items.  And the really expensive ones--I just look for a cheaper substitute!
