Another travel question...

Would it be absolutely horrible to have my 22 month old on my lap for a 3 hour flight?  I'm thinking yes, but saving $400 sounds appealing too.  I think I could keep him to a dull roar with an Elmo DVD for at least 1 hour, and snacks, etc for the rest?  Am I being unreasonable?  TIA!

I know I couldn't do it w/ my DD. She would pitch a fit. But each kid is different. If you think your DS can behave then go for it.

I would try it.  I flew with dd for an 1 1/2 hour flight.  I took a dvd and her pedi. recommended giving her some benadryl 30 mins. before the flight took off.  She slept most of the time and when she woke up, I had something for her to drink and a dvd ready to go:)  Good luck!
